I explained to her that I have never ever stood in the way of her dream to play beautiful music, even though we actually lose money on it.

really the owner was a HOBBIT as in the books and movies.Now that I have your attention (I've been pulling your leg) the Hill Country Community Theatre in Marble Falls TX is doing the musical, "The Hobbit".

It will get interesting when the music stops.

I drive fairly long distances for work and most people would cringe at the thought of listening to anything other than music.

I have successfully flipped two of my own homes over the recent past- one in Los Angeles, CA and another in Melrose, Mass.I’ve been in the music business for most of my adult life and it’s been very good to me, sending me to live in great cities such as New York, Boston and Los Angeles.

I spent $200K cash in 9 months because I was "promised" a $1M fee for being the middle-man in trading historical currency, as well as a $15M line of credit to finance my other businesses (I also had a music development company and traded stock options online). 

Eventually, they lost it all when the music stopped.Can't hold onto something that doesn't make money.But an investment property that cash flows doesn't need to appreciate to avoid taking a beating.
