The only people who should & do profit in neighborhoods like this are seasoned, grizzled battle tested veterans.

But the reality may be that the middle men are making the most profit – even if not the most profit, the issue is that its an undisclosed amount of money ( hence smells like dishonest/ double dealing behavior).

I didn't want to get into a drawn out legal battle. 

Us fellers smell like ape and proud of it.

They would love a battle like this.If it's me, I'd go ahead and rent my place with the expectation that the local government could shut me down. 

In my mind its our inheritance, and I'd rather not foul things up, and be required to give the government a sizable portion of it, if that can legally be avoided.   

Plus, the front-loaders are notorious for smells and mildew if you don’t treat them right.

All the ads I see, both of FB and Google, feel like an ad, smell like an ad, sound like an ad and I see this from the big companies out there and I really wonder if they truly know ANYTHING about marketing (other than what everyone regurgitates).

I think sometimes weather plays a role in this and we're lucky in that aspect as we're not battling months of snow to turn off potential tenants.Gail
