I also had an inspector discover that the center support beam was completely destroyed by dry rot on one property and the only way to get a new beam in would be to take off a sizable section of one of the outside walls to the house because the basement was too small to get the beam in through the one door into it and then turn the beam to the correct direction.

Send someone under the house with these to take lots of pictures of the floor system to include the plywood or planking deck, joists, and beams with the meter stuck in the wood in the photo.
