Colors that are too dark Can make a room feel smaller in my opinion.

We completely changed the color scheme to a classic black and white finish.

And remember, "galvalume" can be painted to match color scheme and all, but doesn't have to be.

What I now do is have the stairs painted a dark brown.

Which color would you recommend for rental units for following.1) kitchen cabinets2) luxury vinyl flooring color3) paint color walls, ceiling etclastly, would vinyl click and groove plank flooring be ok in washroom too or you recommend tiles?

Maybe change the wall colors and stage the place to make it look like a new listing. 

White paint goes a long way, modern colors like gray on the exterior of your house with accents of white colors will transform the appearance.

They are dark so you will be stuck with staying dark but that will still offer a better value than covering them.
