.- bathroom sink ceramic paint are coming off- they want the garage door light to stay on after it opens up- pen marks on the bathroom vanities- light bulb needs to be replaced- nails on the wall

If your floor bowed due to the weight of ceramic tiles , there is something wrong with the structure .

Most of the house is Vinyl plank and ceramic tile.

Just wanted to get an idea of thoughts from both perspectives of why to choose laminate wood and why to choose ceramic tile from a cost to durability standpoint. thanks for the help

They can be on a ground level foundation, or on pilons or walls....I've seen some renovated with ceramic tile, another has a parquet hardwood floor.Manufactured homes are good for rentals, such as in a park.

In recent years, precision-machined ceramic quarter-turn valves on bathroom faucets have really come in because they're what the ADA wants. 

Should I replace the common area floor tiles  which is approximately 200 square feet with ceramic tile or should i go with luxury vinyl planks.  

I would NEVER special order/ buy one smaller.Small people take baths/95 to 99 % adults take showers unless they grew up with or recently 'forced' to tub it.Make the shower,if thats what you have to do, as large as possible with a pan, then covered in river rock pebble floor,,,and ceramic tile the walls , over red guard,over cement board, over good insulation if its an outside wall,,,roxul is best, does NOT support mold like fiberglass,,,its spun from rocks.They also make a product you use INSTEAD of water when mixing your grout and its permanently sealed, forever,,,or use epoxy grout.Plastic or fiberglass enclosures are a joke and dont last from noon to dinner. crack, leak, get ruined often,,,are inferior product,,,and need special care, which renters dont EVER do.
