Hey everyone,I'm relatively new to the investment scene in DFW but have been doing single family and multifamily investments for 8 years.

Having worked for a syndicator I have learned so many thing that go on behind the scenes and the decisions that go into every deal.

I have lived in Greencastle for awhile now and just learning about the real estate scene here.

You're only seeing the work that's visible to you, but there's a lot more behind the scenes (verifying title work, scheduling, negotiating, renegotiating, possibly opening the house for contractors to give bids, etc.

The city's revitalized downtown area is also attracting young professionals with its thriving entertainment scene and diverse culinary offerings. 

One thing I may do differently is push more aggressively into the scene once I have the chance.

First time posting and new to the scene here in Kansas city MO, I was wondering if its best to just get a realestate lisence, theyre only a few hundred.

I would say it's far from nightmarish. 

@Nathan Brooks I am relatively new to the scene, and closed my first deal in January on a triplex.
