Left my 3 little kids with a friend that camped next to us... never done that before.There was a few occasions where my wife and I drove to a rental 60 miles away in the middle of the night, while kids were asleep, so we can go witness criminal activity,  tow out cars, and pick out problem tenants to evict.These are just a few examples.
