Especially regarding "good old boy" deals, I feel like Newburgh is a very "boots on the ground" city right now: you've either got to be here, pounding the pavement, or have a rockstar real estate agent doing that for you, shaking out deals. 

One guy weighs about 400 pounds.

A huge house will bring in slightly more rent than a big house but pound per pound the smallest house will often bring in the most rent per dollar in value.

Are there many that should be put in a bag and drowned like unwanted puppies?

Say you’re in the gym and someone loads 700 pounds on a bar and tells you to squat it or deadlift it.

Since rentals are few and far between, often times they have people pounding on their door to rent and never even go public.

Perhaps I could pound the ground and other things to find them, either here or outside my area--I am more interested in focusing on my day job, which pays me well, and setting myself up for the future to walk away from it, and the high cost of living in metro US, without focusing on real estate all the time.
