I always do a history on the area to make sure that it's not in an aging or blighted location.

There is a lot of history here. 

I guess the question really is about, should you work with someone who has a deal but whom you don't have a history with and who won't put money in (because of course there are investors lined up who won't ask for that)?

Hello All, Seeking recommendation for an attorney in the Dallas TX  area the my daughter can consult regarding a disturbing incident that occurred this week at the apartment complex she rents at. 

Is it possible for me to still get one of these loans without the 2 years of employment history?

See if you can get any rental history on the units, making sure if they are paying on time and if they are paying market rent, being new to RE you might not want to have to handle problem tenants from the start either. 

I'm very bullish on Ogden and think it's one of the best markets in the country.Many Utahns stigmatize it because of its turbulent history and most people outside of Utah have never heard of it.I'm buying properties there all the time.  

If I were to purchase a rental property that my daughter would live in, could I "charge" rent and pay myself (or LLC) with tax free money from the 529 plan?
