@David Santana if it takes 6-8 months to evict someone then you really shouldn't be managing your own property.Thomas, there are too many unknowns for an amateur Landlord and you don't want to be tied up and making a big mistake that could cost you more.

Just make sure you do your research to prepare yourself for what you’re getting into.If you do this right you can walk out ahead and with a great home in your possession.Don’t let fear of the unknown scare you away from real estate investment; learn and profit!

There are extra costs and if your haven’t ever gotten bids are don’t really know construction it is really hard to estimate the unknown.  

Sounds like it has potential to be a good deal but there are unknowns with the mold.

Like others mentioned, it’s current state could turn ppl away out of fear of the unknown.

I guess I was weary of the unknown but I’m seeing it more often.
