They agent for the home developer said, "We will call you and let you know when you can actually sign paperwork for the property,....probably in October or November, we anticipate a 6 month delay due to a labor shortage, lumber costs going up, etc. and whatever the price is in October or November you will need to pay the higher price, there is no way to lock in the $540,000."

@Hassan Burashi To be honest, if you are getting deals locked up and can't unload them to buyers, then you are either too high on your price, or not trusted with your deal.
