Our September meeting will be moved to ETSU for a speaker, but other than that we are in Kingsport every month.

@Tarcisio MoraI’m a newbie to the business but I’ve been to a couple of meetups in Walnut Creek by Thrive REIA the best one I went to was the meetup where David Greene was the keynote speaker.

I gave the broker my bank statements and told her that i had sold some hi end stereo equipment on craigslist downsizing in preparation for a move, no receipt just a copy of the CL ad with a picture of the equipment, dated to time of the deposit..and a list of other speaker sales that i also made to show a pattern..and my truthfulness.. that's all...and that the deposit was on the 2 months of statements she requested....She seemed to think it would fly...it didn't. 

This will give you practice analyzing a deal and determining what you could pay and still make it worth your investment.There is a BP podcast (I don't remember the number) where a speaker said that an investor should make an offer on each and every property that they analyze.

The group is a resurrection of the Beginning Investors Subgroup, but I wanted to be able to run the entire meeting myself before becoming dependent on inviting guest speakers.

They have 2-3 events a year and have speakers that specialize in several of the main niches.
