Michael, Bleach does not kill the mold spores, Believe it or not use Dawn and water to scrub it down, and use a microbial to spray it so the spores do not come back, I do Mold Remediation, Hope this helps ....Zack

If I just clean it off, the mildew comes back that same summer /fall so the JOMAX will inhibit growth for a time.Be sure to spray off any desirable plants w/water before and after using this.

1. for rentals, we use a good quality sprayer and can do a whole house in about 2 hours, one guy moving the sprayer and paint and one spraying. prep takes longer, tape off outlets, windows, lights etc. 2. for rehabs, we use a sprayer for the white ceiling, then spray the trim and doors in gloss white. we will roller the walls. on rehabs well leave the doors on and spray over the hinges, since we always install new knobs and hinges in satin or oil rubbed bronze.

Now we've always rented to people with both but it's always a risk that involves quarterly walk throughs (filter change out, quarterly bug spray) to verify that the property isn't being ruined or the animal mistreated.

In either case, provided there is not too much texture, you could remove the doors, and, perhaps, the boxes as well, and {spray} paint them {primer and finish coat(s)} and change the hardware to give a more modern look.

That guy told him that the heat treatment is the best, because you can't "miss" an area when applying it (like you can with spraying chemicals), it's just universally applied throughout the dwelling and spells death for the bugs, no re-treatment needed.
