Has anyone had good luck with heat treatment for bed bugs?

I have a house that vacated and the tenants told me that they had bed bugs. Their "briiliant" idea was to use foggers from HD to cure the problem. I plan to have it professionally taken care of. I received a quote of $450 to use chemicals. If the bugs appear again within 90 days, they will come out a second time for $50. Another company will heat the house up to 120 degrees for most of the day for $900. He claims that the heat will kill bugs and eggs. I researched online and found that the bugs and eggs all die at 113 degrees.

I plan to go with the heat. Not just because it sounds more efficient, but I'm not too concerned with price since the security deposit will be paying it.

Has anyone used the heat treatment? If so, did it work?
