The acrylic liner over the cast iron tub will last longer than the steel--as soon as steel is chipped, it's downhill so incredibly fast.

Im a certified epa certified rrp contractor, lead rrp is just a guideline how to renovate, lead abatement is a different story, but when my waste/discarded paint chips hits the curb, it is not my problem anymore.

You need to get plywood cabinets, and a "cultured" marble top (which is not too durable either- it won't peel off, but is somewhat easily chipped or broken); or get a solid surface ("Corian" type), or stone products that will typically last a very long time.
