A friend of mine scored her dream home last month. 

Due to my background in consumer lending, I am highly skeptical of paystubs and other address verification due to the widely available websites that are out there to generate forms relatively easily... so I like to verify the information by contacting the listed employer using their listed number on Google to avoid possibly calling a friend etc. 

@Joseph Dunphy would you happen to have a investor friendly agent you recommend in the Columbus area I have 2 properties I would like to make negotiate & make offers on 

- The current tenants are said to be family friends to the owner and they do not have a written lease. 

To illustrate:You inherit a property today that your relative/friend bought 10 years ago for 100k.

I have flipped homes for 15 years with my best friend who is a broker in Florida and we sold homes that were ethically done and quality remodels.

Unless you find a lender that would give you a loan with no income then you would be limited to friends/family/or current resources.
