Buyer is willing to replace shingles on his own but will not pay our roofer to do it.I’m mad in principle but the 300 isn’t a big deal.

But if the roof was tear off and the siding was not being replaced, then yes you will have that gap there, especially if you had two layers of shingles on the roof previously.

We told them to stop a few bundles in, although the house wasn't even ready for shingles.

I would hang my shingle out I am a RE broker and can join MLS for a few bucks.. and with average price in Cupertino at what 1.3  to 1.5  and Palo Alto were I Lived for 8 years being closer to 2 mil..

original electric  maybe 60 to 100 amp , not enough for today , old steam boiler  ,  galvanized plumbing ,  terra cotta sewer pipe clogged with roots , 3 layers of shingles on a 12/12 pitch roof ,  termites , Lead paint , no fire escapes ,  the list goes on .     

Tells me soon after some roof shingles missing, couple leaks in roof.

@Jay Hinrichs  The dump trailers hold their value . and its so nice to back up at the landfill right next to a guy hand unloading shingles , open the gate and push a button .

Most of them are going to drill straight through your shingles, and most of them won't even bother siliconing the holes.
