When people reach out to me about investing out there the first thing I ask is when are you planing on flying out there for the first time.

@Jeb Brilliant I’ve been twice and our resort was by small plane and then boat.

Then research the plane tickets from your closest airport.

All I’m saying is just because the plane has turbulence doesn’t mean you have to jump out into a parachute. 

My question is before I invest or hop in a plane to fly out, what are some of the things you’d look for?

Not all of us are at the same point in our investment career or hitting our number, so realize there are many “right” answers.We are starting to plane down in our investments.  

Disney is celebrating 50 years, and as soon as planes start flying Internationally, the demand will benefit owners of these units.

I think it’s a very bad idea.Talk to friends and family to see if they will give you money, but outside of that you need to be honest with people and let them know “hey I never did this”Would you fly in a plane with a pilot that has never flown?

Depends on which beach or which mountain :)I would prefer a VR location that is less seasonal, meaning you could keep it booked year round ... but again, depends on which beach (summer seasonal) or which mountain (winter seasonal) ... in my market either beach or mountain still have high seasons but could be used year round, and I think it has more to do with the weather than anything as it is fairly nice weather both places year round, that and close proximity to large population centers so folks can easily pop in for a long weekend anytime rather than hopping on a plane for a planned 2 week vacation.
