Investor investment trajectory

Would like some perspective.  Not all of us are at the same point in our investment career or hitting our number, so realize there are many “right” answers.

We are starting to plane down in our investments.  Looking more at wealth protection than gaining wealth.

We are well past our "number". Enjoying life. In a good LTV% or debt to equity position.

In our position.   Who cares what happens to inflation or interest rates.  “Is this a correct assessment or do you see other issues to address?”

We are still doing some investments but they are a smaller part of our wealth.

Our biggest concern right now is property tax assessment increases.
Thanks for your input.

I'm 78, my wife is a bit younger, she is the PM. I worry about the complicated Wa fishing regulations, water levels in our rivers and so on.

Our properties are all nearby and we are no longer adding doors. REI is a wonderful wealth and income builder. There are still perils and some worse than others, populations shift due to economic factors and natural disasters, and there is even war. Always stuff to worry about, or not!
