New Member from CA looking to get into out-of-state investing

Hello! My Name is Rase Peters. I am a 29/M living in the Bay Area of CA, specifically the East Bay area for anyone looking to meet up. I have been an avid listener of the BiggerPockets Money podcast for some time now and am finally ready to dive into out-of-state real estate investing. Just one year ago I purchased my first home ever as I no longer wanted to rent and get out on my own. I currently house hack to two apprentices of mine from our W-2 jobs as Air Balance Technicians to help keep the house affordable even in the crazy markets that we have here. I am coming to the forms as a way to find like minded people on a similar path as me, as most people around me just think I'm crazy for wanting to retire from a W-2 employer here in the next few years. The construction industry is toxic and with going on 10 years in the trades, I'm looking for a way out. And if you don't want to talk real estate because I'm so green, maybe you train Brazilian Jiu-jitsu and just want to talk BJJ & Fi/Re! That would be cool too. Hey @Rase Peters! Great to hear that you are already house hacking and taking things to the next level. I work with Bay Area investors with their out-of-state investments all the time so it's definitely possible and you can definitely scale.
