In the past absentee owner postcards has been successful for me, using a 4x6 double sided black and white postcard (for both wholesaling and rehabs).

Some may respond to a yellow letter, some to a post card, and some to a typed professional letter.

Why shouldn't he send out postcards/mailers to the owners of these properties?

Good morning BP family,I am creating a postcard list and I am looking through an obituary database.

Finding the deals in this market is the definitely challenging because lots of people are using the exact same techniques to find the deals (letters, postcards, bandit signs, etc) so even the distressed and motivated owners often have multiple offers.

There are dozens of forum discussions on here about the effectiveness of yellow letters, postcards, cold calling, driving for dollars, and other methods, and who to target (such as absentee owners, probates, divorces, foreclosures, etc). 

Now what are some BEYOND cheap sites for either post cards i dont wanna do the letter thing due to the fact its about twice the price.
