So no formal education for me got my RE license at 18. and stumbled into a few deals  had a natural knack of salesmanship. 

It's a good idea to fund the "model home" if you plan on doing the "let me build your dream home" method, that way there is something to showcase instead of just plans and land.

After everything I read, it seems like it all comes down to "having a team", "if the numbers are right", and "finding a discounted property".Investing technique: Preferably BRRRR Method. 

forget to mention , there's recent development to build new class B+/C hotel like BestWestern in the area of around Waikoloa, so it's starting.This island is missing the middle lower-class brand-name hotel due to very limited hotel approval but it's there in extremely very limited approval.I think most local would reject most development, hence Kauai and big island is still more natural compare to lets say oahu/honolulu....

We are starting our journey in West End and planning to use the BRRRR method.

We who were real estate investors then, came across these strategies, techniques and methods haphazardly.  

Have you done any deals in the DFW area using the BRRRR method?

Think about mixing ways to work: start with fixing houses to make money fast and then use the BRRRR method for more money over time.

I know there is Angie, any other methods you guys suggest, beside google search of course and vetting ;)
