I am trying to find best way to find legit contractors specialized in certain trades (masonry, carpeting, kitchen/bath, etc...) I know there is Angie, any other methods you guys suggest, beside google search of course and vetting ;)

Ive had decent luck with the NAHB Home builders association. https://www.nahb.org/nahb-community/nahb-directories They have a whole section dedicated to remodelers. Obviously not a replacement for vetting the individual companies out. But certainly another place to look.
