Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Michigan, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Oregon each report approximately 1 million acres owned by foreign citizens.

She also told me that the owner is from Mexico, he does not report everything and is earning more income than reported.

I wonder if people are leaving states like New Mexico, Louisiana, Colorado, South Carolina, Arkansas, and Oklahoma because of crime, all those states have a higher rate per capita of violent crime than California.
