Older homes tend to have particle board.

I got excited about real real estate at age 20, just having served three years in the Army, stationed in Germany.I couldn't get enough of it, I thought it was the most exciting thing I ever encountered .........the idea of creating income, a cash flow from the smallest particle in the universe ......... a THOUGHT.Taking that thought, that desire, and converting them to cash was absolutely amazing to me.The very idea that it was possible to make money without a job thrilled me.Real estate today, now in my 70's, is still exciting and rewarding.Hang in there and your youthful desires, energy and your thoughts will materialize  and reward you beyond your greatest expectations. 

The floors crumble because the factory uses this sawdust-like particle board that whenever it gets wet it becomes soft - this is always replaced with plywood.  

The skids was OK except they used  particle board for the subfloor, which was absolute crap. 

i offered him a free place to stay at another home of mine that is vacant (it doesnt have the modern conveniences but its a free place to stay.i dont know if the tenants are extremely sensitive to dust and airborne particles? 

Many of the particles in the lateral have no doubt passed through the pipe perforations into the field itself. 

It draws air out of the basement through the leaky floor and carries moisture, mold particles, and other airborne STUFF with it. 

Your entire sub-floor can be ruined if there is a leak and the mobile home sub-floor is particle board vs hard wood.

I would personally recommend vinyl wood plank over wood laminate as it's more durable and resistant to water.Wood laminate is typically made out of thin particle board, and any water will damage it pretty easily.
