I am planning on visiting the P&Z department in Douglas Co. to get a walkthrough of how to obtain a building permit this week. 

Similar experience. 2 weeks ago I was told by Sean that the property would be vacant and rekeyed on September 3rd.

I literally closed on my first property with them a few weeks ago and am hoping the great experience continues.

Before you say 'you should have the money to get into a contract' I normally wouldn't be in this situation but I've just closed on a property that was all cash 2 weeks ago and a friend calls me on a property that's truly an amazing deal that I want to get into contract (has stable tenants renewing contracts above market, I can get for under market).

🧐When the loan is paid off, sometimes it takes a number of weeks or longer for the escrow check to be sent out with any refund..
