Some non-citizens have SSNs so that helps, others have International Tax ID numbers so that also helps, some are simply on an investment visa.  

My fiancee and I are long term buy and hold investors in a small market, and were looking to add another property to our portfolio.

They also don't give you the raw credit score of 550, 600, 650, etc. or the total amount of debt payments like $500/mo car payment , $300/mo VISA payment etc.I'm new to tenant screening ...Thanks in advance!

If you cannot find any MFR comps in that specific area, as a fall back, look at what SFRs are doing in that neighborhood & ask why a person would live in your property vis-a-vis the SFR.(2)  Who is going to manage the properties? 

The visa can take awhile also, so don't wait too long.

My fiancee is actually from the US (dallas) so I figured that it should assist me in overcoming any foreign ownership issues.

The more boring and the less sexy something is, the more likely it seems it will be profitable, and visa versa.

Does anyone have any suggestions on renting to non-US citizens on Student Visas.

I guess what I'm asking is, is there a way to succeed in notes/rental investing if you're from another country without having a visa/permanent residence status?

I will be back in Tokyo for renewing my visa which I have stolen here...
