This thread is really puzzling to me.

I have a jigsaw puzzle patch work of about 25 mentors.

I should add that there was nothing grand about our 1904 house and I was a free lunch program at school and latch key kid, so when I made those remarks about my friends house in the "rich" part of town, I was genuinely puzzled why such a fancy new house would feel so insubstantial.

My wife may get a job offer out of state, in which we would relocate wherever that is, but I still do not think our DTI would allow us to access the majority of the equity in our place.The final piece to this puzzle is that our home sits on a flat usable 1/3 acre.

I have a friend who just bought her first investment property, but labeled it as primary residence, obviously had no intention to move there.... she was even bragging about it, but it's whatever... let the banks solve the puzzle, not you, not your problems.

The agreements you use, also, are a critical part of the puzzle. 

There's 5 doors to consider, so this is just a puzzle I'm trying to figure out and I'll try to explain this the best I can, but hopefully the image below helps.
