Scott, A couple of things here: 1) If this is true, and you will be getting $10M, then you should be cautious - alerting people to an amount of money this large can be dangerous, and you will get advice looking to separate that money from you from very hungry people, who will come off as very polished, but who can really do damage to your wealth.2) If you are coming into $10M all at once, then depending on the source, you will pay taxes on this.

We served a 30-day notice of termination.If they reported it, paid for damaged, and promised to keep the weapons empty on the property or stored somewhere else, then I may consider letting them stay.

While I agree that the tenant who shot a hole in your floor should be responsible for the damages, if I was the tenant below, I would want to leave, not attend a party with the person who literally could have killed me due to their incredible gross negligence.Pending legal restrictions, this would be the end of my wanting the business of the upstairs tenant.

We have had thousands of pets in the homes and have never had a severe damage issue.
