There is nothing else I could possibly put up in its place to create privacy that would be as aesthetically pleasing or that would compliment the mid-century style of the home as well.Does anyone have any suggestions about what I might say if I file an amended variance request that would persuade the city to make an exception and allow my fence to remain as it is?

You can search applicable laws by searching "partition of assets/property/company assets/LLC assets between members, is where I'd start.If you're not fighting, now is the time to address these matters, amend your Operating Agreement (or put one in place).Check too on the type of LLC you may have formed as you may need 2 members, vacancies may be addressed to fill vacancies or your LLC may be administratively dissolved.Need to check with your attorney on these matters.

It varies by state but if they recently changed it, it's probably not something the membership would vote on, unless it's an amendment to the bylaws.
