Heat pumps in mild climates are often more economical than running the furnace.

Connecticut doesn't have the luxury of California's population growth/topography/weather/Silicon Valley critical mass to mitigate an unfriendly business climate.

Being that you live in a cold climate where heat is required by law.

Has anyone in this kind of climate charged their tenants in this fashion?

I grew up in Jackson and was there during Katrina, so I just assumed that every property on the coast would be in a flood zone given climate patterns these days.

Lets create a list for maintenance (do these monthly/yearly) :1) change Furnace/AC filter2) change fridge filter3) get a guy to move the lawn/get rid of snow4) replenish water softener salt (if there is one)5) clean gutters (yearly)6) power wash (yearly in Florida/Carolina and other wet climates)7) pest control yearly?
