An LLC is useful for two things: anonymity and legal protection.

Generally what I have read says set up Wyoming LLC then individual state LLCs under the Wyoming LLC for each state I invest in (to keep anonymity).

Hi everyone, I am trying to set up an anonymous holding LLC and one anonymous Georgia subsidiary LLC (for my Georgia rental) and one anonymous California subsidiary LLC (for my California rental).

We are also in the process of creating an LLC in the state where the property is located and a holding LLC in Wyonming so we can get the full package (asset and liability protection, anonymity, and mitigation of taxes).

It is sometimes possible to get more anonymity for your spoke LLCs by using an anonymous Hub LLC as the Manager.

If you set up a holding company to own the LLC's, then you also have greater anonymity. 

Well if he has threatened to burn the house down and there is a witness to that then maybe all you need to do is place an anonymous call to the police department and tell them the address and the owners name and number. 

Long story short trusts are an excellent tool for anonymity.
