Hey Anthony, sounds like you've already done a lot of your own due diligence / thinking about this but I would affirm what some others are saying on here.

If indeed you received a LOI, would you then take exception for the restriction and provide affirmative coverage for loss or damage, or would you just issue the policy w/o exception and hope the matter never ripens into a claim? 

I know it sounds like I'm splitting hairs but some banks write HELOCs in their residential department....which won't write Investment Properties.
