Approached by an investor

James Moore
Posted

I was approached by an investor named James Holloway on Instagram offering one on one coaching. I would like to see if anyone can vouch for him before I start working with him. I just don't want to be blindsided.
Any help is appreciated.

The key is due diligence. What type of coaching is he providing? If he's teaching how to buyer SFR's and BRRR, then ask him for proof of his portfolio. If he's teaching how to acquire multi, ask for evidence that he owns a number of multi properties. I know nothing about him or his coaching. I only know that you will part with your money quickly if you don't do substantial investigation. Anyone can make a claim on social media. Backing up that claim is the hard part.
