What program, app, or website do you use to collect rent?

I’ve been working with a contractor (a family member with 30+ years of contracting and real estate experience and shows me all the flips he’s done with the app CompanyCam) who comes across numerous individuals who are in search of “California investors” or “California deals” as they call it out there.

What program, app, or website do you use to collect rent?

Looking for ideas and/or suggestions on recommended real estate apps, tools, or software to utilize. 

My firm, for example, accepts spreadsheets, expense tracking apps like TaxBot or Expensify, accounting software like Stessa (free and relatively easy) or QuickBooks (the opposite) and so on, but we need to make sure that these tools, including spreadsheets, are correctly used.

Houzz app as well as Instagram Discover page is very in tune with the latest trends and styles that the buyers are looking for.

What I would do is look up the specific area you want to house-hack or are considering on Roomies or another room share app or a place like Facebook Marketplace.
