@Mac Caspersen, BP has zero impact on the local investing scene.

I have gotten a 3% deal once but it required me buying a foreclosure on the courthouse steps and then getting lucky on the rehab and then lucky again finding a tenant in housing with the highest voucher I have ever scene in my area. 

I'm driving down the road watching some construction, and I think about what's going on behind the scenes. 

Worst was old red stain splotches & the new carpet guys wouldn't tear it out claiming it was a crime scene hazard.

Does anyone have experience with the local meetup scene in Detroit? 

While it’s yet to be scene where this plays out long term as I have about tripled my renovation budget and will be offering a much nicer product it will feel good to know no ones going to be living with duck taped walls and floors that are caving in.While deadlines have slipped and delays are countless I am still pushing the crew to get done two units ASAP!

Thanks Account Closed I looked into all the different plug-in products, intermittent "puffers," and/or hanging car air fresheners on the ceiling like the Sloth crime scene in the movie Seven.

If you're wanting to DIY it, do some research on YouTube for filming/shooting real estate scenes and editing tricks.
