Hi there,Has anyone had any luck getting a mobile home park financed with reasonable terms on a 30 year note?

I'm interested in this land but there's a mobile home on it and the sellers only own the land so have no title for it, it does have two liens on it one from a bank and one from the County, I want to know if my purchase will be a good idea and if the process of putting trailer in my name is straight forward.

Is your money committed to a particular project or did you just take the loan out but so far it's not dedicated anywhere?

New to investing... and was wondering if anyone thought about buying mobile homes that sit on at least .5 acres could be a good buy to rehab and flip?

His plan is to use the rest to buy a mobile home for him to live in.

I was looking into buying mobile homes but I will probably wait until summer passes.Bill, I realized that getting a cash out refi would be difficult...my original plan was to use the equity I add to the house to get a Home Equity Loan and go from there.

There are several that have somewhat regular listings but it's not like the big cities where there are whole firms dedicated to multis.  

They own a mobile home, but they have 3 properties on 1.25 acres.

But I'll be coming down to Mobile, AL in the next month for a few temporary duties and plan on touring properties while I'm in town.
