Before you do anything or take anyone's advice on the interweb you need to sit down and study/learn all your state landlord tenant regulations.

I'm working as an Insights Strategist during the day, putting in a few hours of marketing consulting work on the side during the week, and studying up on real estate investing on the weekends (and whatever time I have left over during the week).Having worked in the finance industry for the last couple years, I became increasingly aware of different types of investing vehicles, but never really considered real estate investing until I moved to Miami this last July.

I focus on buy and hold long term rentals, but I've explored the airbnb model for several of our properties, and I'm a (painfully) frequent user....my input is limited, but here goes: - if I were you, my first step would be to study up on the local ordinances around short term rentals.

I will definitely study Euclid and Garfield heights some more.If I wanted to study around 4 or 5 areas, among this list, which other 3 areas would you pick: South Euclid, Cleveland Heights, Lakewood, Maple Heights, Warrensville Heights?
