Hello from an amateur investor in Miami!

Hi everyone! Newbie to real estate wealth building here...

I recently moved to Miami from Madrid (where I got my Masters in Market Research). I'm working as an Insights Strategist during the day, putting in a few hours of marketing consulting work on the side during the week, and studying up on real estate investing on the weekends (and whatever time I have left over during the week).

Having worked in the finance industry for the last couple years, I became increasingly aware of different types of investing vehicles, but never really considered real estate investing until I moved to Miami this last July. I thought it was pretty awesome that my landlord lives in Brazil, works a full-time job, and has a steady monthly cash flow from his rental units - that led me to discover BiggerPockets!

I still have my due diligence cut out for me, but I'm considering investing in a rental property in Miami. That being the case, I'll be spending a bit of time on here to see what wisdom I can pick up. Looking forward to the real estate discussions!
