How do you handle these sorts of reactions?

My initial reaction upon seeing the valuation was similar, but when you boil down the numbers, in most cases, it tends to be less of a dramatic jump as you initially think.

I wonder what her reaction will be when you come home with that first big check from a successful deal.

I've had my share of bad experiences with the above mentioned "wholesalers" and it's a shame the general reaction to wholesalers as a group is so low.

If you are creative in your approach, you can get past the initial reaction of the typical thoughts towards a dystopian wasteland of metal buildings and burning barrels of trash.

There are proactive and preventative things that can be done to "catch" bed bugs at an early stage and needs to be shared with your renters.You educate them on bed bugs and have them sign an acknowledgement that they have read the materials and will stay aware and on top of what and where they contact bed bugs (i,e, travel,buying used furniture, shopping at thrift stores, etc)Nip it now so that you don't have to go through this again in the future because the risk gets greater especially if someone has a severe reaction to the bites - guess who gets sued?

Remember too, that in these areas market reactions to energy commodities can also dictate life and death of the local economy.

I understand that this is a public forum and not necessarily typical professional communication, but if a wholesaler wrote me in that format, my immediate reaction would be to strongly doubt his professionalism. 

(Bigger Pockets was, I think, created partly as a reaction to that industry.)But if you do your research there might be some good educational opportunities which can expand your mental horizons to other ways of making money in real estate.
