Cosmo - I personally don't know Phoenix well, but if I had to do this in another city I would look at income levels, crime levels, and population growth (if you can) by zip code and/or area within a DMA as a starting point.

If you are just starting out, tax and foreclosure auctions are probably not the way to go for most people.

However, I’m open to exploring opportunities in other cities or markets if the numbers make sense and align with my investment goals.If you know of any deals or markets worth considering or maybe even a deal lines up, I would love to know of it!

I started a property management company in 2017 and am now managing almost 800 doors and 6 construction crews.If I could do it all over again, I would have spent a little more time setting up business systems prior to jumping in. 

Since you’re already in the LTR space and looking to grow, have you considered leveraging your commercial expertise to explore multifamily properties?
