medium/Light rehab with lots of sweat equity What was the outcome?

Kingston seems to have a happy medium of lower crime and decent schools compared to the actual cities of Scranton and Wilkes-Barre.

Nothing wrong with ladder access as long as it’s built to code with the right construction,  step distances and width and correctly secured to the building 

I haven't seen any local ord banning or restricting medium term rentals.

The Quad Cities is a medium sized marked with affordable prices and strong cash on cash returns.

I suspect you will have a hard time doing a finished basement and meeting building codes with those Phila rowhouses, when you consider that code now requires an egress from the basement; it's tough to do the egress window in many of them due to the tiny width of the side-yard space.

On the second example -- I'd bet you might be surprised -- that one looks pretty typical, and many like it had a front room the full width, but then the back of the house was split up with joists spanning in more than one direction, and therefore several bearing walls. 

I wouldn't argue with anyone who said it was the ONLY worthwhile medium to advertise them on, to be perfectly honest.  

Does anyone have a good estimate for building new (~1,800sf) on medium slope in light forest area?
