When doing some scouting on a potential deal, a RE agent mentioned this site to me while doing my due diligence and it seems pretty cool. 

I’m full time medical tech at the University of Michigan, cub scout leader, and part time construction worker.

My issue here is that I don't have anyone "on the ground" , I've proven adept at scouting my local markets for deals via abandoned homes, absentee owners, foreclosures etc but the key there is that it's "local".

I was rushing out the door to run a shift at the scouts tree lot.There is no limitation on the rate of return that an IRA may receive.  

I'm going to be working on scouting out some neighborhoods this weekend so anytime is good for me.

Scout some smaller local banks and credit unions.

I have a great management company, I'm scouting for realtors with LLC expertise, for financing, properties that meet my specific criteria/goals, contractors, etc.

I scout them all the time. 

I'm by no means an expert on San Pedro and don't own there ... these are just my impressions from driving, scouting and research.

I'd prefer not to use an agent as I'll be doing the scouting myself.
