As I proposed in one of my articles, some agents, who know full well what it's like to make cold-calls because they have done it themselves, usually take these calls with grace, tolerance, and kindness, much like the ex-waiter or waitress becomes some of the best of future tippers.

"I always just cash my check, don't get it deposited" actually means "I only do things under the table, no-- I don't have a stable job"-- (exceptions obviously for hairstylists/waitresses/service industry-- all of those would still have a small pay check showing the hours) Google should really do a real life screening translator to help people screen.
