The hope/prayer is that a vaccine will suddenly emerge and the economy can just restart, but that's not very realistic.

We won’t have a widely distributed vaccine until well after Christmas I would expect.

@Victoria Pham it will get a little worse before it gets better but it would all be based on that Vaccine when the turn around will occur.

We already have  closures in some areas due to the flu.BTW, several drug companies say they are close to having a vaccination for this virus.

Be patient.People are getting sick and dying of a virus we have no vaccine nor cure for that must be contained as well as possible.

Hospitality and retail are already getting hit and are likely to continue to get hit until we have a vaccine and then some.

Unless the tourism numbers are low even under normal circumstances, you shouldn’t need a vaccine or “cure” before folks start traveling regionally again, and for your property to become profitable.

That is, drugs and chronic diseases have increased our death rate in the past 7 years about like COVID will change it going forward (absent a vaccine or treatment). ​

No vaccine and no built up immunity is the cause there.But the thing is, if they'd come out and said "OMG we're going to have 2-3 years worth of regular flu season deaths amongst people that are on their death beads already!!!

I would skip charging the monthly increase to the rent as that effectively changes the lease altogether and could be seen as a demand for a rent increase.Require and obtain all pets vaccination records and licenses as well as the name and phone number of the vet.Require Renter's Insurance with Landlord as Additionally Insured coverage - that covers pets so that if anyone is bitten or damage is sustained, you are held harmless and the tenant's policy kicks in for those damages.As long as you change nothing more than the conditions regarding the pets, it's pretty basic.
