It is SORELY needed here in Southern Cal, I have endured the rounds of wannabe gurus, pitch fests and self important realtors that love the sounds of their own voices (there was one RE organizer who pitched a mlm scheme on a bottled soda) sheesh!

We allow people to get 2k calorie burgers loaded with bacon, cheddar cheese, drink a 1/2 gallon of soda laced with about a bajillion grams of sugar, actions all but guaranteed to give heart disease, diabetes, OH and while smoking half a pack of marlb's.

You just have to be very careful to understand how bad the situation is and proceed accordingly.The surest way to address mold is to gut everything - which we've done, but it's obviously very expensive.More practical options are to use ozone generators to kill mold and use bicarbonate soda (not bleach) to clean up what's left.Where you can get into trouble is if you don't properly address the mold and then a renter or buyer has an issue later and wants to sue you.
