Granted, that's the nature of my occupation as a handyman, but still, it would take a LOT to get me away from her if I were still teaching, for instance.So if on top of that he's burning his income on a nice place for hisself instead of something small and tight and cheap so more money goes home to his wife and/or children, that would be a red flag for me.

So, imagine how much competition you already have when it comes to direct mail and then consider that the property owners are already burned out from getting so many direct mail pieces.You may get a gem with direct mail, but while I do 80,000 pieces per yea I am 100% against direct mail if you don't mind spending thousands of dollars with an expectation that you may not get one good lead.I get many leads from my direct mail.
