I feel my best option, as others had mentioned, is to find ways tomake money and fully engage in real estate investing meets, events, etc.

I’ve noticed that it’s hard to get info on more advanced topics on this site, because when you ask questions that are more advanced they don’t normally get any engagement.

If you don't want to buy anything, attend sessions you are interested in plus lunch presentations and take lots of notes.Now, if you decide on getting any of the guru courses, many of them will throw extra bonuses and stuff at the event.

All the way from the first engagement with a potential client until everything is complete.

I'm not specifically familiar with any Houston requirements for a "Contractor's License" but there is not a State of Texas requirement for a "Contractor's License". 10 - 15 Years ago, the Legislature passed a requirement for all Builders to "Register" with a State Agency (I forget which one) but the requirement was dropped in the next legislative session.
