@Johann Jells Some mini-split systems have low-temperature models which work down to zero or so degrees (farenheit). 

Currently they are complaining that the refrigerator temperature is hard to micromanage and that the freezer door seal is a little "leaky".

Sometimes the welding-gas store (like Airgas or Praxair) will carry good grinding wheels for reasonable money.
