Here’s how I do it1-   I do not “cross collateralize” assets, i.e., if I default on one asset (god forbid) the lender can not come after any other assets2 - I do NOT sign personal guarantees - I’ve got two banks that lend to me without a personal guarantee, but only up to 50% LTV.

This can be straightforward but may not be ideal if market conditions are unfavorable or if there are significant transaction costs.Partitioning the Assets: If there are multiple properties, you could divide them between yourselves in a manner that reflects the 50/50 ownership.

When I did it correctly, they denied the transaction and informed me that my TAX ID and account is no longer authorized to use Melio, with NO EXPLANATION.
